Summary. The article is aimed at getting acquainted with the concept of a mixed form of education, which has become the leading form of organization of the educational process in the conditions of the spread of the COVID‐19 pandemic and the war on the territory of Ukraine. The analysis of the literature on the research problem made it possible to determine the main forms of mixing that can be implemented in the conditions of a specific educational institution at different levels, in particular, both at the level of a separate discipline or group, and at the level of the entire university. The process of mixing is quite simple, but multidirectional and can include: mixing face-to-face and distance learning formats, mixing structured and unstructured learning, user and external content, independent and group learning. Using a mixed form of education, a modern institution of higher education, and, accordingly, the teacher who works in it, significantly expands the horizons of traditional forms of educational activity, creating for the student such conditions of educational activity in which he will feel as comfortable as possible, taking into account individual opportunities, and will have access to the created information bases and data banks, which are of a purely profile nature, and contribute to the general development of the student of education, his professional growth. The article describes the peculiarities of the implementation of mixed learning technology in institutions of higher education in the training of doctors, in particular specialists in the field of stomatology and orthodontics. The main advantages of this form of education in today's conditions, and the mechanisms of technology implementation during the training of specialists in this direction, among which, it is worth noting, the exchange of experience and knowledge with specialists and experts of the relevant field in a remote format, due to the involvement of education seekers in conferences and discussions, have been determined , extramural excursions, etc., which are held online and do not require the direct presence of the student at the place of the event.
