Summary. The article defines the stages of implementation of project technologies in the process of training future teachers: search, analytical, practical, presentation and control, which ensures the effectiveness of project implementation during the phased implementation. Perform an analysis of the requirements for the implementation of project technology in the educational process of training future teachers, which are characterized by the presence of a significant problem and the practicality of the obtained results, independent educational activity, clear structuring of the project content and the mandatory presentation of work results. The types of projects that are effectively implemented in the educational process of training future teachers have been studied, namely: by type of educational activity, by subject-content direction, by the number of participants, by duration of implementation. In the course of training future teachers, we have gained successful experience in the implementation of project technology. For this purpose, the content of the educational discipline "Methodology of learning (by subject specializations)" was improved by introducing a practical lesson "Methodology of application of project learning technologies", which would involve the implementation of a certain educational project. The topics of the proposed projects corresponded with the topics of educational projects offered in the educational program of a specific subject of a secondary education institution. This allowed to involve future teachers in project activities, to independently implement the educational project provided in the program of the educational subject, to analyze possible problematic moments during its implementation by students. It was concluded, that the implementation of project technologies causes certain problems: the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the discipline is insufficient for the implementation of the project; lack of understanding of the goal and task by project participants, which makes its quality implementation impossible; insufficient motivation of some participants of the educational process to perform this type of activity; the difficulty of achieving the project’s goal due to the insufficient level of the institution’s material and technical base. It has also been established that the implementation of this technology has certain advantages: stimulates education seekers to educational activities of a research regarding the solution of practically significant professional problems, strengthens their motivation to work in class, activates their independent work, in particular, teaches them to independently observe and solve problems, make decisions, predict the results of made decisions and their consequences.
