SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITIES OF UKRAINIAN MUSICAL CULTURE OF THE 20TH CENTURY IN THE SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING OF ACADEMICIAN IVAN HAMKALO

Abstract

Summary. The article analyzes the creative and artistic activity of prominent domestic personalities of Ukrainian musical culture in the scientific understanding of Academician Ivan Hamkalo. The role of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the professional development of the future artist is highlighted. It is determined that on the basis of the analysis of scientific works of the outstanding conductor, pedagogue, scientist, public figure the opportunity and importance of mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities of conducting art is given. It is emphasized that the scientific achievements of Ivan Hamkalo outline a range of issues related to the problems of conducting, form the professional skills of future conductors, promote intellectual development, cultivate in him a love for his profession. In his scientific works I. Hamkalo uses the historicalcomparative method, which was used in many sciences and was the basis of the principle of historicism in modern musicology and related fields of science. Thus, the highlighted creative activity of prominent musicians in scientific works has influenced the formation of the worldview of the creative personality in the educational space. Summarizing the above, we can say that the creative and artistic activity of famous domestic personalities of Ukrainian musical culture in the scientific understanding of Academician Ivan Hamkalo, plays an important role in the formation of national musical culture. Thus, the facts of Ivan Hamkalo's scientific activity give an opportunity to talk about the influence of his personality on the state of music education in Ukraine, which is carried out as an important component of the cultural and historical process. The scientific study of I. Hamkalo's works creates a profound transformation of the traditional worldview, which is primarily manifested as the universalization of the tools of cultural activity, developed in its artistic and aesthetic fields.
