Summary. The article presents a comprehensive study of the system of continuous teacher education in Canada, which is considered one of the most advanced in the world due to its integration, innovation and high level of adaptability to modern educational challenges. Analyzing in detail the historical development, methodological foundations and strategic orientations of the system, the work reveals the key elements that ensure its successful functioning and evolution. Special attention is paid to the role of digital technologies and informatization, which play a critical role in the modernization of the educational process and the introduction of innovative methods into pedagogical practice. Through the prism of the study of specific case studies, the article demonstrates how the practical application of the latest approaches allows teachers to constantly develop their professional competences, adapt to changing conditions and requirements of the educational environment. At the same time, the analysis of challenges and prospects for the development of the continuing education system in Canada indicates the need for its further adaptation and integration with global educational trends. Expanding the boundaries of the traditional understanding of pedagogical education, the authors point to the importance of an interdisciplinary approach that combines pedagogy, psychology, sociology, information technology and other areas of knowledge to form a comprehensive vision of the modern educational process. This approach not only contributes to the improvement of the quality of pedagogical education, but also opens up new opportunities for professional growth and selfrealization of teachers. The purpose of the article is not only to provide an overview of the essence and structure of the system of continuous teacher education in Canada, but also to deeply analyze its components, challenges and prospects, with an emphasis on innovative strategies and teaching methods. The work is based on a wide range of scientific research, analysis of publications by leading scientists and author's observations, which makes it an important contribution to research in the field of pedagogical education.
