Abstract

Summary. The article is devoted to the study of the features of the use of STEAM technologies in the system of general secondary education in the process of studying philological disciplines and presenting options for conducting lessons in the Ukrainian language and literature on the example of the experimental work of the Kryvyi Rih Pokrovsky Lyceum of the Kryvyi Rih City Council of the Dnepropetrovsk region on the topic "Development and implementation of educational and methodological providing STEAM-education in the conditions of reforming the educational industry”. The problem field and the relevance of the chosen topic were indicated, the goals were agreed upon and the studies on reforming the system of general secondary education in accordance with the tasks of STEAM education and the creation of a single space that would include a network of interested educational institutions of various types, STEAM-centers, STEAM-teachers were analyzed, which are aimed at developing educational and methodological support and scientific support for the introduction of educational innovations. The article provides a review of current scientific works that highlight the essence of STEAM-technologies in the context of pedagogical research and it was revealed that the humanities education is the least studied now in terms of the problem and that is why today there is a special need to apply STEAM-technologies in the study of philological disciplines. Innovations will be based on the preparation of the teacher for teaching on the principles of transdisciplinarity, individuality, civic orientation and productive motivation to the needs model. The forms, methods, technologies and means of STEAM-education are described both in the process of conducting classes and developing within the framework of the All-Ukrainian festival "STEM-spring-2023" in the Dnipropetrovsk region, STEAM-week and the conceptual and diagnostic stage of the institution's work on a specific problem, which allowed us to test the educational and methodological support of STEAM education. The conclusions on the article and the prospects for further development of the topic of using STEAM technologies in the system of general secondary education in the process of studying philological disciplines in advanced scientific research and publications are formulated.
