Анотація. У статті детально проаналізовано методологічну основу професійної підготовки прикордонників в Республіці Індія. Особливу увагу надано методологічним підходам до професійної підготовки прикордонників в Республіці Індія, а саме: компетентнісному, системному, особистісно-діяльнісному, андрагогічному та етноаксіологічному. Крім того, описано особливості та складові визначених методологічних підходів, а також специфіку їх імплементації у процесі професійної підготовки фахівців прикордонних відомств.
