PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORTING THE EMPLOYEES OF INSTITUTION OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF MARTIAL LAW

Abstract

The article reveals the main content of the activity of the head of a preschool educational institution in terms of providing psychosocial support to employees under the conditions of martial law. The relevance of the issue is determined by the fact that currently one of the main challenges for the preschool education system of Ukraine, especially in the zone of active hostilities, in the frontline and temporarily occupied territories, is the risk of losing the personnel potential of preschool education institutions. Pedagogical employees of such institutions work mainly on a part-time basis (with reduced wages), are on downtime, have suspended employment contract, or have terminated employment relations with preschool institutions because of moving or changing the place of work. It was determined that the safekeeping and management of the staff of the preschool education institution to ensure its functioning during the crisis and subsequent withdrawal from the crisis is one of the most urgent tasks of the anti-crisis management of the institution under the conditions of martial law. The concept of crisis, anti-crisis management of an institution under martial law is revealed. The importance of providing psychosocial support to preschool education workers in the conditions of martial law has been proved – as a system of actions to neutralize the negative impact of psychotraumatic factors on somatic and mental health, social life of a person and interpersonal relations in the working team; ensuring the unlocking of the internal potential of the entire team of the institution and each of its employees, assistance in restoring psychosocial well-being, developing a mechanism for overcoming stress and increasing resistance to it. Based on the analysis of theoretical sources and the study of the main and most effective means of psychosocial supporting the employees of preschool educational institutions in the front-line territories of Donetsk region under martial law, the primary tasks of the manager as for providing psychological support for the employees of preschool institutions under martial law are determined.
