THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF BILINGUAL EDUCATION IN CANADA (NUNAVUT, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES AND YUKON)

The paper analyzes bilingual education in Nunavut, Yukon and Northwest Territories. The scientific literature concerning problems of using native languages in bilingual education has been studied and analyzed. The bilingual education is proved to develop and promote the understanding of multiculturalism, reflecting the cultural and racial diversity of Canadian society, helping to preserve and enhance the cultural heritage.
