Abstract

The article studies the definition of «child care» in the context of a multidisciplinary approach. It analyzes the concepts of «care» and «concern» in the theory and ethics of care. It also reveals applicability of the theory of care and its variations in different areas of scientific research. In edu-cation the ethics of care has had the greatest influence on moral education consisting of four components such as design, dialogue, practice and confir-mation. In philosophy, there is a debate about relationship-based care and virtue-based care, the superiority of justice over care and vice versa, the factor of gender in the theory of care.
