PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF MASTERS OF EDUCATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING THE EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT “PEDAGOGICAL CONTROL IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM”

Abstract

Summary. The article reveals the content of the discipline “Pedagogical Control in the Education System” in the training of masters in educational and pedagogical sciences. The purpose of this discipline is to form students’ clear ideas about the types, forms and methods of pedagogical control and their impact on the quality of the educational process. This allows future teachers to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that will be useful for their professional activities. The content of the topics (educational tasks at the present stage of development of society and pedagogical control over their implementation in the Ukrainian education system; functions and types of pedagogical control; current and periodic assessments and control in education; selfassessment and self-control in cognitive and transformational activities; pedagogical control in education; pedagogical control over communication; organization of a pedagogically appropriate environment and a highly spiritual atmosphere as a prerequisite for pedagogical control in the education system) is revealed. The discipline is aimed at forming professional competencies and developing professional skills necessary for successful teaching. It helps broaden students’ horizons, develop their empathy and analytical skills. Students have the opportunity to better understand the needs and individual characteristics, learn to take them into account in the learning and assessment process. In addition, the study of this discipline contributes to the formation of readiness for selfeducation and professional self-improvement throughout life. The content of the program is focused on the development of students as professionals in the field of education and research. It provides students with the opportunity to know modern achievements in the field of education and pedagogy, use digital technologies in professional and research activities, organize the educational process based on modern approaches and use innovative teaching methods. It is proved that the study of the discipline “Pedagogical Control in the Education System” is an important element in the training of qualified teaching staff and contributes to improving the quality of education.
